Adapted Toy Drive!!
May 25, 2022For the 2022 Christmas season, we at LA-AEM believe ALL children should have access to affordable, FUN and mainstream toys. Switch adapted toys not only serve as a way to build cause and effect, but can also be incorporated into group play and literacy activities. Our goal is to give an adapted toy to at least one child in each Louisiana school district.
Our Target Population
Switch adapted toys are ideally intended for children with significant motor and/or cognitive disabilities. For these students, operating a switch adapted toy may be the first independent thing they can do.
Receive a Toy
If you are a parent or professional that knows of a student needing an adapted toy please register by August 26th.
